Ngurra Kujungka wins award

Ngurra Kujungka has been recognized for its work in remote indigenous communities by being awarded the Public Health Association Australia (PHAA) – WA Branch, Aboriginal Health Award. The award recognises Ngurra Kujungka’s continued dedication and contribution to improved health outcomes in Aboriginal communities. Program Manager – Dan Barnes, pictured with PHAA Chief Executive Officer – Michael Moore and received the award on behalf of the organization at the PHAA WA Branch Annual General Meeting said the award is great recognition for the committed and dedicated Ngurra Kujungka Martu Council and staff who work tirelessly to greatly assist deliver positive outcomes for the eight remote indigenous communities in the Western Desert in which they service.
